Welcome to the STL and Firstaff Career Center!
Thank you for your interest in pursuing a Career with STL. We are always interested in hearing from candidates who share our philosophies and dreams.
This page was developed to help you prepare for submitting your application and resume to STL. Below is a brief description of our interview process.
Step One - Introducing you to STL
If you are interested in seeking employment with STL, please complete our Application for Employment or send an electronic form of your resume (in a Word document) to one of our experienced recruiters. Please see our View Current Opportunities section for available openings. Here are some important facts you should know before submitting your resume:

Step Two - Resume Lifecycle
After you submit an application resume, your information will be entered into our candidate database. Our candidate database is managed in OnlineOfficeTools.com. Our database allows our recruiters the capability to search for candidates based on position criteria. Your information will remain active in our database for a period of one year.
Please be assured a recruiter will contact you when your resume matches an available career posting.
Step Three - Hearing from us
If there is a match between your skill set and an available position, you will be contacted by one of our outstanding recruiters to explain the status of your application. Here are some important facts you should know:
1) All of our position openings are shared by all of our recruiters. Therefore, there is no need to submit your resume to multiple recruiters. Once you have submitted your application or resume to one recruiter, your information will be entered in the database for all recruiters to view.
2) If there is a potential match, you may be asked to complete a phone interview with one of our recruiters.
3) After a phone interview is conducted, the recruiter will determine if there is a need for a second, face-to-face interview.
4) Candidates can expect to complete a technical interview if interviewing for a position that is technical in nature.
Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will you contact my current employer? Current employers will not be contacted if candidates do not wish us to contact them at the time of the interview. If an offer is extended by STL, however, we will submit an "employer verification" form to all previous employers.
2) How long do interviews last? Our interviews may last anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. This all depends on how many questions candidates have for us.
3) How many interviews will I have? Candidates can expect one to four interviews with STL. It is our goal to ensure a strong match between your career objectives and our company goals. We want to make sure all expectations are discussed.
4) Will I receive feedback from my interview? Yes. After your interview, your recruiter will provide you with feedback regarding your employment status. Our recruiters are very effective communicators and they will let you know if they prefer email or phone calls.
